The previous system, used by customers of DX’s Courier service, allowed the entry of courier job details, label printing, and data transmission to DX for billing.
However, with the software locally installed on user PCs, it posed challenges for support and maintenance. Handling a massive daily volume of courier business, DX needed customer-facing software with advanced functionality.

We installed our Client Portal solution to create “DX Despatch”. Powered by NetCourier, this courier software is cloud based and delivered through a standard Internet browser to provide DX’s customers with a more efficient and intuitive user experience. This courier software provides DX with one central system which can easily be remotely maintained and updated by DX, with the ability to introduce new products and services as required by the business.
The implementation of a modern cloud-based replacement solution ensures systems that are easier to maintain and upgrade regularly. This includes a new client interface for a clearer and smoother customer experience, as well as a system for labeling and transmitting job information to enhance courier tracking.
The solution allows for the seamless introduction of new services and products, while also providing customers with the ability to help themselves online through an intuitive portal. We now processes over 40 million shipments annually for DX, meeting their requirements efficiently.
