What3words is now available on NetCourier, the innovative solution assigns every 3m x3m square in the world a 3 word address, this can then be used by delivery drivers to know the exact entrance to a delivery location saving time and phone calls.
What3words is an address system which divides up the world into a grid of 57 trillion 3mx3m squares, where each square has a unique pre-assigned 3-word address. One test showed it reduced city delivery times by 30%! and completely eliminated the need to phone the client on arrival at an address to clarify delivery.
We have decided to introduce the what3words 3-word addressing format as an additional option on all NetCourier bookings. The integration will be available in NetCourier client portal address manager from v7.6. 3-word addresses allow courier companies to complete deliveries faster and more reliably.
