Due to be rolled out next week, v8.6 helps to streamline business workflows, enhance customer service capabilities, and refine usability.

So what’s new in v8.6?


We have added yet another integration to our ever expanding portfolio – This time it is DTDC, India’s largest parcel delivery network. A strategic partner of DPD, the multinational logistics company delivers 12 million parcels every month across 240 countries.


To help make our driver app as easy-to-use as possible, we have improved its geolocation capabilities. This means that navigation apps such as Google Maps and Waze can be opened with MetApp running in the background, helping your drivers to easily find their destinations.


To help both you and your clients make informed decisions, we have refined our reporting features. Jobs can now be filtered by the time received and collected so you can keep on top of your deliveries, whilst users found the job milestone column so useful in the back office that we have also added it to the client portal.


You can now remove a step in the delivery process by scanning your deliveries directly to a driver or messenger. When enabled, this will help you to streamline your workflow and reduce double handling of your parcels.


It is now easy to bulk import your PODs, ensuring that your clients can be updated with their delivery statuses as soon as possible.
