Here at the Metafour HQ we are particularly excited about our latest update. The Development team have been beavering away for many months in order to bring our customers the latest addition to our software: Package pricing.
If you ship pallets, you’re interested in shipping pallets, or if you want to offer your customers different services for different package sizes then this will be a useful addition to your business. Bookings are simplified:The system will pre-allocate a service based on the weights and dimensions stated, or the customer can choose their required package type. Set-up is easy, and by enabling this option you can ensure your customers receive accurate prices for their deliveries.
We are also adding another couple of freight-related features and services that are perfect for customers looking to branch out in new directions. The first allows you to calculate and price your deliveries based on ‘weight measure’; something that is essential for Air and Sea freight deliveries. The second is a FedEx freight integration, which allows you to streamline your booking process by accessing live rates and storing your quote data.
Our latest API update will help your customer service team save time managing your customer data. It removes the need for double entry in both your CRM and NetCourier, as it will simply transfer over client information that you have added or amended in your internal system. Automating this manual process allows you to free up resources and allocate them to other, more important, tasks.
Another integration has been added to our ever expanding list of carriers this month: GLH Couriers.
A London-based company, their delivery business covers Sameday, UK Overnight, and International bookings, in addition to their award-winning private hire services.
The final feature has been added in order to improve your FedEx exports. The system can now add FTR exemption information, which is required for all deliveries to specific locations that are valued above $2,500. Again, this has been developed in order to help you make your business as efficient as possible.
