Online shopping is at an all time high over the Xmas season, and consumers are becoming increasingly reliant on online order management systems to ensure they get their gifts to their loved ones on time.
But what is the state of consumer confidence in online shopping at the end of 2015? According to ukhaulier.co.uk and new research from TomTom Telematics which surveyed more than a thousand UK consumers, consumer confidence waning on christmas courier delivery. The research found that 27% of UK consumers have experienced late Christmas gift deliveries when ordering online. Furthermore, almost 31% are put off buying gifts online because of the risk of unreliable deliveries, and 45% plan to order their gifts online five weeks in advance to help avoid getting caught out by delivery issues.
