Tucan Travel's Story
Matt from Tucan Travel knew that in his competitive adventure travel market, he needed a really good looking website that had intuitive navigation and easy to use online booking functionality for his direct customers and agents to find and make buying decisions about Tucan’s great tours. Matt also wanted it to be simple for his staff to maintain its enormous library of information and photographs describing over 550 different adventure tours. The website had to be fast; as fast in Australia as the UK where most of Tucan’s customers are equally located. Tucan simply needed to be a cut above the rest.
He commissioned us in December 2009 to deploy Empower Website to meet the brief. We worked closely with our expert travel website designer and Matt and Rebecca from Tucan in an iterative process that has resulted in the design you can see today. All aspects of the brief were met, and our staff were happy to attend the fantastic launch party for the website at the Trocadero in Piccadilly six months later. A great night!
