The Responsibilities:
- Developing Tour Operator System, Reservation System and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) for our clients in the travel and tourism industry
- Analyse business requirements, design screens, design software modules, code, test and implement software applications
- Documentation, quality assurance and change management of software applications
- Monitoring our live IT infrastructure
The Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in software development
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Java programming
- Familiarity with the following business areas: Freight forwarding, Hotels/Rosorts, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Software Companies, Travel Agents/Tour Operators
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the following areas: Business Analyst, Programmer/Software Engineer, Project Manager (Software), Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, Software Implementation, Technical Lead (Software)
- Minimum of 1 year programming experience in using Java EE and Apache Tomcat
- Minimum of 1 year experience in using either Eclipse or NetBeans IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
- Minimum of 1 year experience using XML, SOAP, XML-RPC in Java (preferred) or any other language
- Knowledge and development experience in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and good command in SQL
- Experience of working in Linux platform
- Self-motivated team player
- Quick learner with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and achieve specified targets
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience in project management or team management
